Linda is a Detroit, MI-based abstract painter whose work explores the relationship between landscape, memory, structure, and emotion. Drawing on professional experience in landscape architecture, architectural illustration, and graphic design, she creates layered, expressive paintings that balance intuitive mark-making with a strong sense of composition and color.
Influenced by Abstract Expressionism and a lifelong connection to the natural world, Boyle transforms sensory experiences into vibrant abstractions that invite personal interpretation. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout the United States, including with ADC Fine Art, Intersect Art and Design Palm Springs, and Art Comes Alive. In 2025, she presented a solo exhibition at The Manoogian Gallery - University Liggett School, followed by a two-person exhibition at Color and Ink Studio in Hazel Park, Michigan, in 2026.
Linda is a studio member at The Pioneer Building in Detroit and teaches painting at The Atelier School of Art in Royal Oak. Her work is held in corporate and private collections and continues to evolve through an exploration of color, texture, and the expressive possibilities of abstraction.
